Prepping the building for build-out

The future home of the Everwild Distillery, Lounge & Tasting room is an old brick, block and steel building. The best we can tell, it was built in the 1890’s. It is L-shaped and has roughly 4,700 square feet of space. It served as a Studebaker and Pierce-Arrow car dealership in the late 1920‘s, and hosted a variety of different retail shops over the last 100 years. The building has great bones, but we need to remove everything built on that skeleton, inside and out over the past century so we can build it up again.

The work is hard, but it’s a labor of love, and we are getting to know every inch of our building as we work through this process.
